Quick Summary
A de-registration is a three-step process which enables a player to re-register with a new club if they have been made active at their current club.
Step 1: Initiate a de-registration request.
Step 2: Club/player accepts the request (dependent on who initiates it).
(If this request is NOT acknowledged after 7-days it will automatically be sent to the Association)
Step 3: The association the club is a part of approves the request.

Step 1: Initiate a de-registration request.
- If a player is looking to submit this request the action needs to be completed via the Football Account.
- Only ACTIVE registrations can have a de-registration requested
- Once requested your club will be notified
Step 2: Club/player accepts the request (dependent on who initiates it)
- Club administrators will need to acknowledge the de-registration request via the PlayFootball Admin portal
- All de-registration requested are listed under the 'de-reg request' tab located under 'Registration'
- Clubs have 7-days to acknowledge the request, after 7-days the request is automatically sent to the association
Step 3: The association of the clubs approves/declines the request (2nd lvl approval)
- When a club has acknowledged a request/or 7-days has been reached the request will sit will the association for approval
- There is no time limit allocated at the association level
- Approved request at this level will complete a de-reg and allow for the player to re-register to a new club
- Declined request at this level will return the registration into an active state
