When you login to PlayFootball for the first time, it is required that you create or claim a participant record. This support article will provide a step-by-step guide to claiming your existing participant record. 


If you do not have an existing participant record, please create a record by following the guide found here.


1. Go to playfootball.com.au. Sign in to your Football Network account



Once you sign in, your name will appear in the top-right hand corner. Please hover over your name and select, 'My Account' again.


2. Select 'Manage My Registrations'



3. Sign in to PlayFootball


Please note: if you have created your account using Google, you must select 'Sign in with Google'




4. Select 'Profile'



5. Select 'Create my participant record'



6. Ensure 'Yes' is selected



Select Yes to link your existing profile



7. Enter the participant's first name, last name, and date of birth only. 


Please note: If you are a parent, please enter your personal details and not your child's.  


The search is case sensitive, please ensure there is no spaces before or after the details.



8. Participant records found will now appear



9. Select the appropriate record and select 'Use Record'


Select the appropriate Participant Record and select Use Record


10. Retrieve the code from your email address, enter the code and select 'Verify'




11. You have now claimed your existing participant record 


You have now successfully claimed your account
