1. Go to playfootball.com.au. Sign in to your Football Network account



Once you sign in, your name will appear in the top-right hand corner. Please hover over your name and select, 'My Account' again.


2. Select 'Manage My Registrations'


Click on MANAGE MY REGISTRATIONS


3. Sign in to PlayFootball


Please note: if you have created your account using Google, you must select 'Sign in with Google'




4. Select 'My Registrations'


Click on My Registrations


5. Click on the 3 dots of your registration


Click on the three dots on the right hand side of your registration


If you are requesting a refund and de-registration on behalf of a family member and cannot view their registration, you may need to invite them as a 'family member' in your account. To do so, please navigate to the relevant article here. 


6. Select 'De-Registration Request'


Click on De-Registration Request



7. Select a reason for the request

8. Select a reason for the request 


Click a reason


9. Tick the 'Refund Request' box


Tick the Refund Request box


10. Add a note or comment about this request


Add a note or comment about this request


11. Select 'Submit Request'


Click on Submit Request


12. The registration will appear under 'My Registrations' with the status, 'Dereg Requested'



The selected registration will come up under My Registrations with 'Dereg Requested'


Please note: A participant needs to be fully de-registered in PlayFootball before being able to receive a refund. Therefore, the refund process will only begin once the de-registration has been actioned by each organisation level. For more information on the de-registration process, please click here.

What is the refund process?


Once the participant has been de-registered (i.e the de-registration process mentioned above is complete), the refund request is initiated. Your refund request needs to be acknowledged by all organisation levels prior to you receiving funds back (your club, association, member federation and Football Australia). Once acknowledged, the refund will be processed by Football Australia.
